Thera are various ways the community can help in the Saito ecosystem. Here are the things you can do to contribute to the success of the organization:
We are glad to have one of the best communities of the crypto ecosystem, that keeps growing every day, one of the best ways to help to project is let spread the info about it, you can do this by sharing the links of the official Telegram, the Discord server, and @SaitoOfficial on Twitter.
The team have compiled a list of important tasks ranging from researching commutative signatures to proposing ways to implement on-chain scripting or L2 VMs.
If there is an obvious path forward from your research we will help you write a Saito Implementation Proposal. All members of our team can be reached on Telegram for private discussions of fundamentals and suggestions on approaches or you can email us at community@saito.io.
We have a list of random bugs and requests on Github. Some are also exploratory features. We welcome anyone to tackle any of these and submit a pull request. You may request for write access to contribute by emailing your github ID to community@saito.io.
We will help you build that module.
As a starter, we highly recommend you to follow this tutorial series designed to accelerate your knowledge in developing a module. You may also use the existing modules in our Github as a reference for your development and/or to understand how existing modules work. As you advance on your development, we recommend that you check the various APIs available for your module.
Some general questions that would help you kick-off your module development:
Members of our community have done incredible work translating the Saito whitepaper into other languages. Volunteers are also running chat groups where non-native speakers can learn how Saito works in their own language.
While we cannot take responsibility for the content in community-generated documents and chat groups, this is critical work for our success and we’re grateful to everyone who is helping with this mission. We hope that the following resources are useful to non-native speakers. If you are a native speaker in an underserved community and want to help out with this kind of work, please reach out.
Whether it's a programming or non-programming task, you may email us at community@saito.tech or message anyone from our team through telegram. Our telegram IDs can be found on the about section -- Meet the team of the Saito website.
We maintain a list of active community-led projects that welcome help - get in touch and we can send work your way. We also maintain a list of more independent and often difficult tasks that often involve dealing with cryptographic or network fundaments. We also welcome technical proposals on how to improve Saito Consensus and/or aspects of our technical implementation of it.
If you know of anything that should be on this page submit an edit via our Saito Wiki Github Repository or email us at community@saito.tech. To those who are new to github, we have created a step-by-step guide in submitting and getting your request approved.
